Megastar Rihanna lit up her album release party in a spiky gold frock from The Blondes for Noir Jewelry. What famous jeweler bedazzled her for her fierce ‘Rated R’ cover shoot?

Rihanna’s style has evolved from flirty island chic to body armor fierce over the years, and the ensemble she wore to her album release party in New York last week reflected her strong fashion transformation.

Showing up (a fashionable) three hours late, the popstar wowed photogs with a spiky yellow gold and rhinestone mini dress created by famous New York design duo, The Blondes, for Noir Jewelry with a sleek pair of yellow gold hoops.

The album itself, ‘Rated R’, exudes the same tough girl exterior, with an edgy black and white cover shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth featuring the singer in H. Stern Golden Stones black diamond studs ($6100).

Rihanna’s “I am woman hear me roar” style will continue to be the talk of the town as she is slated to perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
