Celebrities celebrated with Chopard at their swanky
150th anniversary soiree in Cannes.
Who wore the most diamond jewelry? Was it Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan or another diamond diva?
Diamonds, gemstones and glittering gold jewels were all present and accounted
for on the red carpet celebrating Chopard’s 150th anniversary in
Cannes last night.
The Geneva-based watch and jewelry house has always enjoyed a close
relationship with the film community –
especially the Cannes film
festival – so it comes as no surprise that they chose to commemorate this
important milestone on La Croisette with the A-list.
While Paris and Nicky Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Marion Cotillard and festival
Juror, Kate Beckinsale, wowed the crowd with diamond jewels and runway favorites
like Temperly London (Kate) and Alberto Makali (Paris), it was Caroline
Gruosi-Scheufele, Chopard co-president and art director, and model Eugenia Silva
who made the biggest jewelry statements of the night.
Both women wore statement necklaces from the
2010 Animal World Collection – a line of 150 bejeweled creature creations
designed especially for this 150th jubilee.
Chopard continued their celebration by unveiling a line of couture pieces
inspired by Hollywood – with each gem making a debut on a celebrated actress
throughout the film festival, which ends on May 23rd.
