Diamond jewelry triumphed at Carrie Underwood’s wedding to hockey stud, Mike Fisher – including a 40-carat diamond tiara and a diamond dog tag for her beloved pup.
Selecting the right wedding jewelry is the diamond decision of a lifetime, and if you’re an A-lister like Carrie Underwood, you can up the ante on the carat count.
Wearing a diamond tiara befitting the queen of country music for her big day, Underwood dazzled in a one-of-a-kind creation by Johnathan Arndt, weighing in at a whopping 40 carats.
The Victorian-inspired piece is made up of sparkling flowers and vines set in 18kt white gold and was purchased as a gift from the groom to his blushing bride.
But that wasn’t the only diamond gem on display. Arndt designed the happy couple’s wedding bands: the bride wore a flawless white princess and round cut diamond ring, and the groom wore a band featuring concealed diamonds, according to a press release.
Not to be left out, Underwood’s beloved rat terrier, Ace, sported diamonds in the ‘ruff’ with his Swarovski crystal pink tuxedo and a diamond letter ‘A’ charm on his collar to light up his ring bearer role.
