Diamond studs were the jock jewel of choice at the 2010 ESPY Awards. But how did the ladies light up their sporty style?
The 2010 ESPY Awards brought out football jocks, soccer studs and Olympic medalists for a parade of sporty style that was a far cry from locker room chic. This year’s winners included Kobe Bryant for ‘Best NBA Player,’ Floyd Mayweather for ‘Best Fighter,’ Serena Williams for ‘Best Female Tennis Player,’ and the New Orleans Saints for ‘Best Team.’
But the best jewelry look on the red carpet for the fellas was the ubiquitous diamond stud earring, with Terrell (T.O.) Owens leading the way and Reggie Bush rocking a pair of black diamonds to change things up.
The ladies were all about playing hoops, with rumored Reggie Bush girlfriend, Amber Rose, wearing interlocking gold loops, Olympic swimmer, Dara Torres, in classic diamond hoops, softball
sensation, Jennie Finch, in a larger version of the same, and Nascar darling, Danica Patrick, sporting a stunning diamond circle pendant.
Girl Next Door, Kendra Wilkinson, went the classic route with emerald and diamond drop earrings, and Andy Roddick’s supermodel significant other, Brooklyn Decker, turned heads in tiny gold earrings and a simple ‘love’ necklace.
