Floral Fashion Blooms in Paris

The garden of delights on the Dior runway at Paris Haute Couture Week is a sure sign flower power is here to stay. See why the fashionistas are cheering and how you can blossom in style.

Fashion followers were drooling with delight in Paris as the Fall/Winter Haute Couture shows launched with a frenzy of floral frocks from Dior. John Galliano’s flower-power line was inspired by all things petaled, as everything from Cinderella-shaped ballgowns to tailored jackets and minis flounced down the runway in an explosion of color.

“I’m having a floral moment,” Galliano told The New York Times – an understatement as the detail in his latest offering included pieces like a skirt clustered as if made with hydrangea heads, a dress with organic worms of fabric and a show-stopping pansy hand-painted on a huge ball gown. And while ‘Galliano the gardener’ didn’t include jewelry with this collection, Jewelry.com curated a few of our favorite blooming baubles to help you get in touch with your inner flower child.
