The Bachelor‘s 16th season came to a controversial close last night with Bachelor Ben Flajnik getting down on bended knee to model Courtney Robertson, Neil Lane bling in hand. Get the scoop on the engagement ring details right here!
In a sea of charming southern belles and girls on horseback, only one girl stood out from the crowd, capturing Ben Flajnik’s heart and proving to America that true love really can be found on reality television…Well, almost.
Throughout the season, Courtney’s conniving actions and behavior had her in a corner against all the other women in the house, who equated her to a black widow spider, among other things. Although having received fair warning from the ladies in the house, Ben’s love continued to grow for the model from Santa Monica, CA.
While America uncrossed their fingers after hopeful Lindzi Cox got the boot, we watched in disapproval as Ben confessed his love for Courtney for the first time, and proposing with a hand-picked Neil Lane stunner. Let’s break down all the blinging detail right here: A cushion-cut diamond, 3+ carat diamond, surrounded with 96 pave-set diamond accents crafted in platinum with a tulip motif along the sides representing past, present and future.
Want one for yourself? Dish out a whopping $50,000 and it’s all yours. And you know the deal: they have to make it two years in order to keep the bling. And after watching the After The Final Rose special and learning that they broke up for some time already because they couldn’t handle the heat, forgive us if we don’t show more confidence.

At least we can all look forward to May when last season’s winner Emily Maynard takes the stage as the next Bachelorette.
