Fall 2014 jewelry trend alert!
It’s almost time for jeans and boots, sweaters and scarves, the infamous pumpkin spice latte, and the latest fall jewelry trends (we always save the best for last!). This upcoming season’s jewelry trends mix classic with eclectic, functional with fun – you’re bound to try out at least one (or all) of these new jewelry fads, and look fabulous doing it.
Floral Jewelry: We know what you’re thinking. Wasn’t this a Spring 2014 jewelry trend? Yes, you avid JewelryInsider reader (we’re flattered)! You are correct – floral jewelry was a big deal this last spring, but this season it’s taking a slightly different direction. Spring’s floral jewelry was a bit wild and large. Fall’s floral jewelry is a bit more reserved (just a bit) with a contemporary flair. Don’t shy away from a “3D” flower necklace worn just along the neckline, as seen in Dolce and Gabbana’s fall 2014 ready-to-wear runway show.
Statement Bracelets: Lucky Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Eva Chen recently appeared on Good Morning America to talk about the hottest trends of the upcoming season. Of course we tuned in and guess what was on her list? That’s right, statement bracelets! We are huge fans of this trend, mainly because there’s no need to limit yourself to just one bracelet. Stack em’ up! The more the merrier.
Singular Earrings: There was quite a bit of commentary over Angelina Jolie’s one earring look at the Maleficent premier, and now it’s one of the hottest fall 2014 jewelry trends! We’ll have you know, we never doubted her jewelry choices one bit. This new craze is exactly how it sounds – wear one singular earring instead of two.
Here are some earring pairs that would work well as singular earrings. Try them out!
Scarf Necklace: Fall is all about being cozy, but there’s a way to combine cozy and chic. This upcoming fall season Karl Lagerfeld showed us that the scarf is more that just an accessory that keeps you warm. It can act as a necklace or a layering piece for other necklaces – genius!
Layer your scarf necklace with any of these pieces.
What trends will you be rockin’ this fall?
