Chokers – You’ve probably noticed the resurgence of this late 90s early 2000s trend. Chokers are all the rage this fall, and come in all shapes and sizes, such as the unique gemstone choker Ralph Lauren debuted at his runway show. Shop for unique necklaces and pendants at Jewelry.com.

This year’s Grammy Awards were full of not only great musical performances (hello Lady Gaga tribute to David Bowie!), but also great jewelry. T Swift showed off her version of the choker trend with a colorful gemstone necklace, while Lady Gaga matched her bedazzled blue eye makeup with some pretty ear bling. Demi Lovato took a jewelry risk (and totally rocked it!) with a body chain and several diamond rings, while Carrie Underwood showed up in a gorgeous 48 ct necklace (a Valentine’s Day gift from her husband).

February is here (we can’t believe it!), which means it’s time to rock that royal purple birthstone amethyst. Fun fact about amethyst – amethyst comes from the Greek work “amethystos,” which means “sober.” In ancient Greece, it was believed amethyst could protect you from getting drunk (imagine that!).

Face Framers: Soften Up Your Visage With Earrings

Frame your face and give your eyes an extra sparkle with these top 5 earring recommends!

For round, moon shaped faces long or angular designs are the perfect to complement your vibrant visage. Geo drops and marquis dangles are modern twist on this age old trick.

If you have an oval shape face elongate your look with tear drops or studs. Teardrop earrings are a great way to elongate your face shape while studs draw attention to your eyes, lips and everything in between.

For a heart shaped face, dangles, teardrops and chandeliers are an elegant way to bring depth and fullness to that lovely look of yours. These are also a great way to accent the tips of your eyebrows and the shape of your lips.

Rounded designs and lithe, contoured drops soften up square-shaped faces. These earrings are also a fun way to add movement and accent your jawline.

Unique and dimensional diamond shaped faces pair best with long, swingy drops and soft curves. Hoops are also great to to soften the corners of your face shape for a fully-balanced feel.

We’re sure you have all heard about the event of the year already. You know what we’re talking about (at least we hope you do)… – Kimye’s wedding! That would be Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

From the pre-wedding brunch at designer Valentino’s French chateau, to the rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles (yup, you read that correctly), and the actual wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy, the entire Kardashian clan was decked out in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. The designer, who is one of the most sought-after jewelry designer’s in the world, is actually one of Kim’s close friends (of course she is).
Here are some of our favorite Lorraine Schwartz jewels from the wedding. We wouldn’t mind owning at least one of these gorgeous pieces!

Schwartz designed the celeb couple’s wedding bands herself. Kim’s ring was a handmade diamond band, while Kanye’s was a handmade gold band. Kim accessorized her wedding outfit with her 15 carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring, and a pair of Martin Katz 18K gold diamond earrings accented by 100 smaller diamonds. The earrings were actually a present Kanye gave Kim more than a year ago. Aw!
