Diamond dust cleans teeth! We know it sounds crazy, but it’s true. At the New York Center for Cosmetic Dentistry (NYCCD), Dr. Emanuel Layliev uses actual diamond dust as a “mild abrasive” before teeth whitening. The diamond dust is included in a paste and then applied with an electronic toothbrush.

So how does it work? Dr. Layliev explains diamond dust “gently cleans the pores of the tooth enamel, allowing the bleaching process to work more effectively.”
After the diamond dust application, Dr. Layliev uses the Philips Zoom whitening treatment, lightening teeth under a bleaching lamp. The entire diamond dust QuickWhite treatment costs $250.
A handful of celebrities including Kim Cattrall, Usher, Tom Brady, and Hugh Jackman, are known to frequent NYCCD, and you have to admit that their teeth are all pretty perfect.
